IN DEATH, Benazir Bhutto is as much a divisive character as she was in life. While the means of her violent end is contested, the world has also been debating the meaning of her assassination. Was she the “daughter of the East and a darling of the West” who made the ultimate political sacrifice or “a kleptocrat in a Hermes scarf”?
